When it comes into contact with blood, Celox™ forms a robust gel like clot in 30 seconds. It works independently of the body’s normal clotting processes and Celox™ clotting ability has been proven to work in the presence of common anti-coagulant blood thinning medications like Coumadin, Warfarin and Heparin. CELOX works in cold (hypothermic) conditions and unlike other products, it generates no heat and will not burn the injured party or the person administering aid.
In clinical tests by the US marines, Celox™ was the only product to give 100% survival.
